COPENHAGEN
INTHEGALLERY Copenhagen opened its door in 2012 as a contemporary art gallery in the centre of Copenhagen, dedicated to showcasing emerging and established artists working predominantly with camera-based art. While our main focus is on photography, INTHEGALLERY occasionally widens its curatorial scope to include exhibitions by artists working in other media, particularly if the artworks establish an aesthetic or conceptual connection to photography.
While the gallery spaces in Copenhagen and Palma serve as our head-quarters and showroom , INTHEGALLERY is also very involved in the international art scene through annual participation in several major international art fairs.
The exhibition programme is created by in-house or visiting curators. In addition to showcasing innovative art, we also host artist’s talks, and other interactions between artists and audience.

PALMA – Old Town and PALMA – Museum
INTHEGALLERY also have two exhibition spaces in Palma de Mallorca – Spain.
Palma Old Town, is located on the historic Veri Street, in the center of the Art District of Palma. It is the only art gallery in Palma focused on contemporary fine art photography.
Palma Museum’s gallery is located in the heart of the contemporary art square, in close proximity to the contemporary Art Museum Es Baluard in Palma.
We showcase and bring the work of Scandinavian artists to the International art scene. Among them, is Jacob Gils; who exhibits his work in museums, private collections such as Fotografiska in Stockolm, the Royal Palace in Copenhaguen and art fairs around the world, and Danish artist, Soren Solkaer, who was chosen to participate in Louis Vuitton anniversary celebration (2021).
INTHEGALLERY is also part of Artsy, the world’s largest online art marketplace.
