A group-show about recollection curated by Tomas Lagermand Lundme and Stine Ljungdalh

“I remember you” is a group-show about remembrance, its paths and detours. We remember our childhood landscapes. We remember yesterday. And we can recall ”rooms of love”, perhaps as “crime scenes”, where the experience of an I and a You has melted into a We. And we remember communities, just as we remember the loneliness of isolation.

With the group-show, the curators Tomas Lagermand Lundme and Stine Ljungdalh wish to create an interdisciplinary poetic space, where photographs, texts and objects together in the room, allowing a collective memory to take shape. Not as a dream, not as a narrative of redemption, but rather, as a mental condition, in which the visual recollection of love exhibited in the space creates a sense of intimacy and caring. For it is with love, that we remember each other and the bound that exists between us. By remembering people, we bring love back to present. The group-show is both about past and presents. We have opened up our memory.
